Igloo picnic experience
1. Of course, if we can manage it, you can also book for the next weekend or day. instead of "Our booking system always shows the currently available dates, but we reserve the right to change them."
2. You can book exclusively on the website at Reservation menu or by e-mail to info@effclusive-picnics.hu by e-mail.
3. After sending us your booking request, we will contact you to discuss the date, time and your ideas.
4. Once all details have been discussed, you will have 48 hours after sending the invoice to pay the total amount of the package. In case we do not receive the deposit, we will no longer be able to hold your appointment.
5. Our offers are valid for 5 working days. We are not able to keep an appointment until the deposit is received.
6. It is very important that you arrive in time on the day of the picnic. We will start heating the venue one hour before the time, so we are asking you not to arrive earlier. We will not be able to deliver the picnic before the agreed time. In the case of late arrivals, we will not be able to provide a longer time slot.
Cancellation and Date Modification
- Of course, unexpected events can happen to us at any time. If we are unable to make the experience due to our fault, the full amount will be refunded.
- If for some unexpected circumstance you are unable to attend the picnic, there is 1 free opportunity to reschedule.
- One month before the booked experience, the reservation can be cancelled, in which case the amount paid will be refunded. If cancellation is made within one month, the amount paid will be credited to a gift card which can be used until the end of the year.
Extreme weather conditions
- The Igloo is on a permanent site, with a foundation, bottom insulation, outdoor heater and heated bottom blanket. For: "The Igloo is on a permanent site with a foundation, bottom insulation and an outdoor heater."
- For safety reasons, no picnics will be held above 60-80km/h wind speed. In this case, we will find another date or credit the amount paid on the donation card. Take it out completely, as it can be held in brutal winds.
- If the weather turns very cold, evening picnics are not recommended below -5 degrees. During the day, if it is cold or snowing during the winter, there is no reason why you can't have a picnic. However, picnics above 12 degrees Celsius in sunny weather are not feasible, as the Igloo will heat up too much. So the only thing that can prevent a picnic is more extreme weather." The last sentence can be left after this.
Payment of the deposit constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions!
Seasonal/Outdoor Picnic Experiences
- We recommend you to book at least 14 days in advance, especially for dates on weekend. The earlier you book, the more chance we have of securing an important date for you. If it is possible for us to make it happen, you can also book for the following weekend or day.
- You can only book on our website through the booking page or via e- mail to info@effclusive-picnics.hu. info@effclusive-picnics.hu by e-mail.
- After sending us your booking request, we will contact you to discuss the date, time and your ideas. In addition to the package you have chosen, we will discuss where you would like to have the picnic, what your preferences are and what style of decoration you would like us to create.
- Once all the details have been discussed, you will be asked to pay 50% of the package as a deposit within 48 hours of sending the invoice. The date will be confirmed after the deposit is received. The remaining 50% is requested 48 hours before the picnic date, when we are sure we can make the picnic for you. If we don't receive the payment of the deposit, we will no longer be able to provide the date.
- Our offers are valid for 5 working days. We are not able to keep an appointment until the deposit is received.
- On the day of the picnic, it is very important to arrive on time. The site will be set up half an hour before the time, so it is very important that you arrive no earlier. We will not be able to deliver the picnic before the agreed time. In the case of late arrivals, we will not be able to provide a longer time slot. In the event of a delay, the organiser will not be able to ensure supervision of the site, so if theft or damage to the picnic equipment occurs while unattended, the booker will be liable to pay for any damage caused.
Extreme weather
The organisers have individual rights to change the picnic facilities in certain weather conditions. For example, in the case of wind, we may not be able to set up the tents or we may replace certain fragile items with other equipment. We maintain the right to make changes. In this case, there will not be a refund.
We are flexible in case of rain, in which case the second 50% will not be paid, the date can be rescheduled or the amount paid will be refunded in the form of a gift card redeemable until the end of the following academic year. We try to find a shady place as much as possible, but this is not always possible. You can always ask for an extra umbrella to go with your luggage, but unfortunately it doesn't offer full protection. In extreme heat, we recommend picnics in the afternoon only and you can also change the time. In the heat, the utensils can get hot, the candles can melt and the food can spoil more easily. If the picnic is in the evening (due to the heat), we will make sure that the experience is as enjoyable and atmospheric in the dark.
- In the event of bad weather, we will also move out to a private indoor venue provided by you within our covered areas at no extra cost, as long as we can fit the change of venue into our schedule.
- It is also possible to set up the picnic at other indoor locations, but the cost of renting a location may occur.
- From 2023, we will also have bubble tents, which can be used in case of light rain and wind, up to a maximum of 10 people, subject to availability. There is no extra cost for this, but you will need to enquire about availability on that date. This tent is not the same as the Igloo tent. It can only be pitched in light rain and winds of up to 25 km/h.
Cancellation

- Large events organised by others in public areas may occur in addition to picnics, in which case we cannot be held responsible. As far as possible, we will choose the best possible location in the area if the event will affect the picnic. However, we regret that we cannot control the noise and crowds this may cause.
We do not accept any claims after the picnic has been picked up, and we cannot refund money for any inconvenience caused through no fault of our own.
